Dry Back LVT Floor

Dry Back Floor refers to a type of LVT flooring that does not have a click-lock system for installation. Instead, it is installed using adhesive or glue. This type of flooring typically has a thickness ranging from 2mm to 3mm. The term "dry back" implies that the installation doesn't involve a click-and-lock mechanism, and instead, the floor is adhered directly to the subfloor using glue. This method of installation can provide a secure and durable flooring solution.

Unlike some other LVT varieties that have a click-and-lock system for installation, Dry Back Flooring requires adhesive or glue during the installation process. This means that the individual tiles or planks are affixed directly to the subfloor using the adhesive.

This type of flooring is known for its stability and durability once installed. The glue-down method ensures a secure bond between the flooring and the subfloor, creating a long-lasting and resilient surface.

    Loose Lay Floor: Lay down
PVC Click Floor: With click system. We can make Unilin click and Valinge click.
    Dry Back Floor: Glue down
  • Q How Laminate Flooring and LVT Are Different?

They’re made from different materials. Laminate flooring is made of layers. The primary layer (the core) is made of high-density fiberboard that gives laminate flooring its rigidity and strength. LVT is made in layers as well; its primary component is PVC vinyl, which makes LVT dimensionally stable and flexible.
They install differently. Laminate flooring is a floating-floor system that should never be nailed or glued to the subfloor. Some LVT products now offer a floating-floor approach to installation, but generally LVT dry back installs as a glue-down system by the application of a separate adhesive or the use of peel-and-stick tiles or planks.
They feel different. Because laminate flooring is made primarily from wood, it feels like wood. LVT is made out of vinyl and feels like plastic.
  • Q Durability & Stability of LVT Flooring and Laminate Flooring

Laminate is typically made from HDF or high-density fiberboard, which is made up of recycled hardwood. Laminate is not waterproof so it is not recommended to install this product in high-moisture or humid areas or places that often have spills like in supermarkets or in restaurants. Laminate is best to install in climate-controlled areas.

Vinyl, however, is a much different story. Parterre vinyl in particular is a hard, closed-cell vinyl allowing for the product to be more water resistant and ideal for higher-moisture areas. A sealant is not required for vinyl, but is recommended for high-moisture areas for an added layer of protection.

Laminate is a hard product, but tends to also be hollow. It is important that the subfloor underneath is smooth and even. Vinyl is ideal for heavy trafficked areas due to its ability to expand and contract. And, both are very easy to clean.
  • Q What is LVT Flooring?

LVT flooring, which stands for Luxury Vinyl Tile. It is a type of durable, low-maintenance flooring that offers the appearance of real wood or stone, or introduces a striking abstract look. At the same time, it offers numerous benefits including lower cost, improved scratch resistance, and waterproof performance. LVT includes a photographic print layer to capture the realistic looks and a wear layer for increased durability. It’s available in planks or tiles.
  • Q How Should I choose LVT?

LVT is available in many sizes and formats and can be used for numerous flooring projects. Depending on the type of space and what the space will be used for, it’s important to consider wear layer thickness, wear layer performance characteristics, total product thickness, and what the LVT product is recommended for; as all LVT products are not the same.
LVT comes in different thickness options. You can choose one to fit the needs of any space, including thicker profiles designed for an easy transition to carpet.
Wear layers in 12, 20, 30 and 40 mil offer you options to choose the right performance level for your commercial flooring project. The higher the mil, the more suitable the product is for heavy traffic.
For example, a 12mil product is suitable for residential use, so you do not want to put it in an area with heavy foot or rolling traffic.
  • Q What's your MOQ? How many color l can choose?

The MOQ is one 20' container with 3 colors from the E- catalog.
If you quantity is less than one container, you can also choose 500sam per color from our stock color or 1000sam from the E-catalog.
